St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre

Volunteers

Without volunteers – the work being done by St Patrick’s would simply not be possible.

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of what we do in the community and form an integral part of our business operations.  We are fortunate to have an ‘army’ of more than 90 volunteers who provide as little or as much time as they can across areas such as  reception, kitchen, maintenance, gardening, painting, arts and crafts, or transport services.

We also welcome volunteers with professional skills in counseling, health and education – to work directly in the delivery of our programs and services.

Our volunteers range in ages from 20 to 90 and carry out valuable work in the areas most aligned with their skills and personal interests.

Our volunteers enjoy the opportunity to meet new friends and attend social events to share their stories of combined community spirit.  An annual dinner of recognition for all volunteers highlights the outstanding contribution that is being made to the local community.

Becoming a volunteer at St Pat’s is as simple as contacting our Reception or applying through the website. You really can make a direct difference by getting involved. Contact us Today!

“The world is hugged by the faithful arms of volunteers.” ~Terri Guillemets
