SWMPF – Getting Connected to the Community
We all know that if we want things to change, we need to do things differently (Thanks Einstein!). So we – a group of not for profit and Government service providers, businesses and community members – are turning the business of community services on its head!
The South West Metropolitan Partnership Forum (SWMPF) brings together all individuals, groups and organisations who are concerned about social disadvantage in the local government areas of Cockburn, Fremantle and Melville – and who are determined to overcome it.
St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre is taking a lead role in the forum. Already, several working groups have been set up up to tackle issues of social disadvantage specific to our region.
More than thirty organizations, government departments and service providers and businesses are the foundation members of SWMPF…but we need more! If you would like to support us in changing lives and assisting all members of our community to enjoy quality of life, come and join us!
