Palmerston Partnership

The Palmerston Oral Health Program is a novel service offered to residents at ‘The Farm’, Palmerston’s residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation program on the outskirts of Perth.

Delivered in St Pat’s Oral Health Clinic, this program is the first of its kind in Australia and has been awarded Silver in the 2024 IPAA WA Achievement Awards, under the category of Best Practice in Innovation. It also received the Excellence in Research and Evaluation Therapeutic Community Research Award in conjunction with Professor Lisa Wood, from the University of Notre Dame Australia.

An evaluation of the first two years of the program by Prof Wood and the Home2Health Team is available here.
