St Pat’s can provide assistance including:

  • Food vouchers and hampers

  • Clothing vouchers

  • Transport vouchers

  • Bill payment & advocacy

Our Emergency Relief, Advocacy and Referral Service offers you professional and confidential, social and emotional support in your greatest time of need.

We can also support you with referrals for housing, drug and alcohol counselling, employment options and more. Our Emergency Relief team will work with you to decide on the best way we can help.

Who can access Emergency Relief?

People aged 18 and over can access Emergency Relief by making an appointment.

Our Youth Place program is for young people aged 15-24 years of age, which can provide accommodation and emergency relief vouchers, food hampers and other essentials.

What to bring to your Emergency Relief Appointment

  • Identification like a driver’s licence or concession card (if you do not have any ID, let us know)

  • Your Centrelink or Health Care Card (if you have one)

  • Your income statement or payslip (if you have one)

  • Latest copy of the bill or loan you need us to help you pay (if applicable)

Demand for Emergency Relief is very high

If you are not able to make your Emergency Relief appointment, for whatever reason, please contact us as soon as possible.

In Crisis?

During peak periods there may be a waitlist for appointments. If the safety of you or someone you know is at risk, please reach out to a Crisis Assistance provider for help.

  • If you’re supporting someone experiencing homelessness, or need to refer someone to St Pat’s Housing or one of our programs, please check the individual program eligibility requirements.

Worried about someone?

  • St Pat’s outreach teams engage with people experiencing rough sleeping across the Perth metropolitan region, with St Pat’s staff based in Fremantle and Rockingham. We work alongside people, building relationships of trust and supporting them to access safe, appropriate accommodation where available.

  • If you’re concerned about someone experiencing rough sleeping, including couch surfing or sleeping in their car, please give us a call or use the form below.

    Christmas Day: 11am to 1pm (Christmas lunch and showers only)

    Boxing Day: 9am to 1pm (meals and showers only)

    December 27th, 30th and 31st: 7:30am to 2pm (meals and showers only)

    January 1st: CLOSED for public holiday

    January 2nd and 3rd: 7:30am to 2pm (meals and showers only)

    Monday January 6th: Normal service resumes
