In our communities we are seeing more and more people living amongst us without a place to call home.
At St Pat’s demand for our services has never been higher. Last financial year alone St Pat’s supported 535 people with accommodation, a 65% increase on the previous year. And most worryingly, more women and families are coming through our doors at St Pat’s than ever before.
People exiting chronic homelessness or fleeing domestic violence are unlikely to own their own furniture or to have reliable networks to ask for assistance. The idea of furnishing and taking care of their new home can be overwhelming.
