For the community, by the community
The Community Store is a welcoming space where people experiencing hardship or transitioning into housing can access clothing, household items, toiletries, and other essentials in a dignified and empowering way.
The Community Store is built on the principles of choice, control, and respect. We recognise that people experiencing homelessness often have little control over their daily lives, and we believe everyone deserves the right to make their own decisions and feel proud of the items they bring into their home.

Sustainability and Community Impact
St Pat’s Community Store is more than a place to access goods—it’s also a hub for sustainability and waste reduction.
With the help of volunteers and partners, St Pat’s sorts, cleans, and redistributes donations, ensuring good-quality items reach people who need them. Partnerships with recycling organisations and other services ensure that unsuitable donations are redirected rather than wasted, reducing both environmental and financial burdens.
We offer 25% off to people with Centrelink Concession Cards/Healthcare Cards.
