Starlight Hotel Choir Logo

Named after the ‘Hotel of Stars’ under which many people experiencing homelessness sleep, our choir holds weekly rehearsal and songwriting sessions from St Pat’s Community Centre and is sought after to perform at festivals and events state-wide.

Led by WAMI award-winning musician and song-writer Dave Johnson and Maggie Hale, the choir is free, community-based and open to anyone over the age of 18, regardless of talent. The main goal is to provide a fun, friendly environment where people can express themselves and feel part of a team and have a great time singing the songs they love!

New members always welcome so drop-in to one of our choir sessions:

  • Mondays 9:30am to 11:30am

Group singing sessions where lyrics to many popular songs are provided and you’re encouraged to bring your favourites. A great start to your day!

  • Tuesdays 9:30am to 11:30am

Let your creativity flow by putting pen to paper in our songwriting sessions. Learn how to write to melodic and rhythmical phrases and turn your stories into songs.

  • 12 Queen Victoria St, Fremantle

We provide a range of supports for people facing homelessness.
