A partnership between

St Pat's and Youth Futures

Our Youth Place program assists young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.

Our friendly team of youth support workers can help young people with Emergency Relief, outreach support, case management, advocacy and referrals and/or transitional housing.

Youth Place is delivered by St Pat’s as lead agency, in partnership with Youth Futures WA, and is funded through the WA Department of Communities under the National Affordable Housing Agreement.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Youth Place is:

  • The young person is aged between 15-25 years (single, couples and families)

  • Young people aged between 15 to 16 will need to be linked with DCP and DCP will be their primary case worker

  • Must be homeless or at risk of homelessness and be residing/staying in or frequenting the City of Fremantle, Cockburn or Melville area

  • Be in receipt of some kind of income through Centrelink or an employment income

  • Prior to being accommodated, clients will be supported through outreach and will be required to maintain monthly contact/visit with their allocated youth support worker in the vicinity of the City of Fremantle, Cockburn, or Melville.

Youth Place Referrals are currently closed.

If you’re supporting someone experiencing homelessness, or need to refer someone to St Pat’s Housing or one of our programs, please check the individual program eligibility requirements.

St Pat’s outreach teams engage with people experiencing rough sleeping across the Perth metropolitan region, with St Pat’s staff based in Fremantle, Kwinana, Rockingham and Mandurah. We work alongside people, building relationships of trust and supporting them to access safe, appropriate accommodation where available.
