St Pat’s Emergency Relief and Welfare Service offer clients professional and confidential, social and emotional support in their greatest time of need. At no other time is our work more relevant than in times of urgent and immediate care needs.
Our staff work with clients to address a range of complex issues aimed at reducing stress, educating clients on their options, and empowering them to make the most beneficial choices when sometimes they have nowhere else to go.
Advocacy is also provided with referrals for housing, drug and alcohol counseling, employment options and more. Our Emergency Relief team also offers a number of other services to provide further assistance with financial and welfare support. These include the provision of food parcels, food vouchers, transport and medicine vouchers, help with the payment of utility bills, accommodation, and the provision of clothing, toiletries and food. Our Youth Place program also provides accommodation and emergency relief vouchers and parcels of food and other essentials for youth aged 15-24 years of age.
