Donating furniture to St Pat's Fremantle

From clothing to cleaning products, furniture to homewares, people can shop for the items they need in a safe, warm environment without feeling segregated or judged.

Staffed by volunteers, the Community Store provides a way for people who might find traditional welfare pathways confronting to connect with available resources and supports.

We provide low-cost clothing, furniture, homewares, cookware, kids clothes and toys and more to people who are on low-incomes, so you can have the same shopping experience and choice as people not currently needing support.

Open to everyone in the community, you can come and grab a bargain, stop and chat with our volunteers or donate your good quality items to us.

Jen’s journey to a new home

Jen and her two children had been homeless for a long time, living in their car and moving between friends, relatives, and temporary accommodations.

When they finally received a house, Jen was overwhelmed by the costs of setting up a new home.Housing Success

St Pat’s support worker connected her with the Housing Success team, who quickly provided essential furniture and household items.

This support lifted a significant emotional and financial burden, allowing Jen to move in with relief and hope. With the essentials taken care of, her support workers could focus on helping her settle in, ensuring Jen and her children were set up for success.
